44th Annual Tour of the American Travelling Morrice
2019 Maine Tour
August 11 – 17, 2019
The American Travelling Morrice comprises dancers and musicians from across the USA and Canada. Originally composed of men from Binghamton, NY and Boston, the group has grown to include dancers from across North America, as well as several men from England. While many members of the team perform regularly with groups in their home towns, they come together for one week each year to form the American Travelling Morrice. Since 1976, the group has toured throughout the United States and England, performing vigorous traditional village dances from the English Cotswolds.
